Hi everyone.
Remember Me???? I think Hana and I were the only ones without any internet access during our time in Yamauchi. Wow! what a wonderful time we had!!! Tearing your kids way from their Japanese families as we left was pretty traumatic. I bought a box of tissues for the event. We were just recomposing ourselves as we were driving out of town on the bus when Nica's father, who happened to live on route, was standing out in the street with a sign that read "Nica, you are my daughter!!! Come back!" More tissue for everyone! I hope you have had a chance to hear the stories and feel the feelings. It was truly and amazing experience. Your kids were (for the most part) great ambassadors!!! There was so much to learn from their lifestyle! Thank you for all your hard work during the past 2 years and the support you have shown to Joan and I. You were with us every step of the way!!!!! There are so many stories I don't know where to start! If you want to hear specifics about your student please call me. I would be happy to talk to any parents about the experience!!!
Hope your ambassador is getting their school work together and figuring out night and day. Dawson is not quite there yet.
Thanks again
Kathy
